In the Hotstick Kitesurfing School of Lanzarote, we offer you kite courses for all levels from the first contact up to the advanced kiter, who wants to learn and improve the latest tricks and jumps. Apart from the basic kite courses, we tailor kite lessons up to the level of each student to maximise the students success.
Kitesurf courses on Lanzarote are held in perfect English, Spanish and Portuguese with the help of walky-talkies, that allow the direct contact of teacher and student. Kite courses at our kitesurf school in Lanzarote start every day, for all levels and the groups are limited to 4 students per instructor. For students, who prefer a very personal training, there is also the possibility of private lessons and for the advanced and independant kiter the supervision or kite rental. All the kite equipment in our kite school Lanzarote is from the latest season to make the students’ progress in kitesurfing as easy and safe as possible. Therefore we use only bow kites in the kite lessons on Lanzarote. All the necessary equipment, a double insurance and an IKO-certificate of your level is included in our kite courses.
If you aren´t staying in Famara and don´t have a rental car, don´t worry, we do a pick-up service from any place between Costa Teguise and Puerto del Carmen oi Lanzarote.
We also offer surf lessons for the few not so windy days on Lanzarote! Of course, if it is windy... the beach of Famara is an ideal surf beach for the first contact with this fun-sport as well.
We give kite lessons on the long sandy beach of Famara, where we have enough space for a safe learning of kitesurfing. Famara is best in low tide, as the beach is wider. even if there are bigger waves, they are no problem, as they break further outside and next to the beach we have shallow water with only very small waves. The consistent trade winds are side-onshore, so you will always be able to return back to the beach.
For the already independant kiter, there is the possibility of supervision or kite equipment rental. we dispose of the latest equipment available on the market, kites and bars from best kiteboarding, the 2008 guroo and waroo and boards from Xelerator Kiteboarding. |

All prices include the full equipment( kites, bars, board, wetsuit, lifejacket, harnes, helmet, walky-talkies), a double insurance and an IKO certification of your level. We teach in english, spanish and portuguese. Kite courses in Lanzarote start everyday, wind permitting, maximum 4 students per instructor.
Kite rental Lanzarote 1 day 70,-
We also offer a pick-up service for our students from every hotel on the island of lanzarote between puerto del carmen and costa teguise to go to Famara beach and back. pick-up from costa teguise for free, if two persons or more, 10€ if one person.
pick-up form puerto del carmen 20€( not per person, up to 4 persons).
